Hello!

We are organising a football tournament on Wednesday 24 November. Money will go towards The London Refugee Response, an appeal set up with leadership from the Mayor of London and London councils. Immediate support needs have been met, such as food, clothing, and other practical items, but refugees still require support to reduce the long-term impact of their traumatic arrival and help them integrate into their new communities. We would like to contribute as part of the support network for these people who find themselves in an unimaginably distressful situation.

London Refugee Response will direct the donations to a network of local charitable organisations around London. These organisations provide mental health support, language support, advice around employment and legal advice, amongst other initiatives. This broad network allows them to ensure a coordinated response and efficient distribution of funds

We are hoping to use football, one of our passions, as a fun way to raise money for an important cause. Any donations are very much appreciated.
